Video: Production: New Chemistry Videos are up for Approval

(Photo taken on the set, while testing for sound and in the process of setting up lights and framing)

My friend Josh and I just completed work on three new training videos for the UCSD Organic Chemistry department, and the Environmental Health and Safety department. The videos are UCSD property so they are located on their website located below. I was responsible for shooting, lighting, sound (shame the mics we rented from UCSD wern't very high quality), animations, and exporting the videos for online and offline viewing. Once the videos are approved by both departments I will upload higher quality .F4V files without the interlacing issues that are present with the current test uploads.

3D: Animation: New Chemistry Tank Animation (HD Available)

I just finished working on an animation for the new series of tutorials my friend Josh and I created for the UCSD Chemistry and Environmental Health and Safety departments. To make the nitrogen tank "explode" I created a 3d model in 3Ds Max and rendered it with the Mental Ray Renderer. In order to composite the photo of the lab with the 3d render, I used Adobe After Effects and Premiere.
